Record HD on GTA SA
#1

Im trying to record gta sa in HD but idk why it doesnt work so well.. :S i get approx 20-40 fps when 1680x1050 as resolution and no AA on etc.

I got a 5750 1gb gddr5 card & a Core 2 Duo E4500 2,20Ghz with 2gb ram

Is there any "tweak" or "fix" out ? i thought i would be able to record good quality with this shit.

Im gonna show you how it looks like, uploading video atm.

Yeah but shouldnt i be able to record at a good resolution and low graphic settings? I can play crysis warhead on mainstream with 50 fps... average.. so i should be able to record with good graphics .. at least what i thought..
Anyone have a clue?

It seems that you have to low specs on your computer for your recording program. Using Fraps?

Try other recording softwares, if no, sorry. Not your day.

Open your Fraps and go to Movies then you can see the video caputre settings to manage your FPS recording in game.

Record to a different hard drive than the one your game is installed on.

Have you turned off the frame limiter completely?

Also make sure your video recording settings in Fraps are setup properly, the recording FPS being key.

In GTA SA? Yes, also i pick 30 fps on recording in Fraps and i leave the field with framelock unchecked.

Question, which program did you use to compress the video? (Not that it has to do something with it, I just need the same because I hate WMV)

And you should use 1280x720 when recording 720p. It will tweak a little bit, and I also guess it's a bit your CPU.
