Remember APB? Well, the company that made it entered administration. Sadface.

That sucks. Never played APB though, but it looked like a good game.

For me this is the first time I notice that gaming companies are having bad times. Or at least those guys.

Uh, that's fucked up :/

Luckily APB is staying on the scene. I will maybe play it one day.

From the article:
Quote:

A Scotland Office spokesman said: "The administrator has said the company's difficulties appear to be the result of commercial market forces.

Translation: they weren't as major a player as people thought.

I'm playing APB since ~ 5 weeks. I've played through everything you can with an Enforcer (max levels), started a Criminal character and it is pretty much the same. It definitely doesn't get boring if you have friends to play with you.

Rumours say APB has gotten back around 20 employees and continue developing MyWorld and APB. Also, another "rumour", the debt isn't much deeper than 2.5m GBP ($3.6m). Saw it somewhere on the news.

It's a cool game, hope RTW gets back on their feet.

APB would have been much better with a "Cops & Robbers" theme as originally intended than this Enforcer vs Criminals thing. It reminds me of Terrorist vs Counter Terrorist and theirs plenty of those A vs B games.

It's over, too bad. It was an awesome game!
