Error: Unable To Execute The Compiler
#1

Hey guys... I continue receiving the following error message when compiling any script with Pawno. I don't understand why this keeps happening. I'm currently using 0.3b, RC-4 and .net Framework 4.0. This was an issue with R8 as well. What could be the issue?

I've never had that problem,
My first try would be to restart with nothing running
and then try to compile, and if that doesn't work
there are other scripting programs with different compilers
that have worked better for me in the past, I can't
think of one on the spot, but If I were you i'd go and look
for one.

And if that still doesn't work, I'm clueless.

Well, I have tried restarting. I usually like sticking with Pawno, but changes are good. I know they use the same language and all, just the layout's are different. I suppose I will need to look one up!

This error is still occurring. I've completely removed .net Framework 1.1 and tried installing .net Framework 3.5, yet the installation file wouldn't run. I just completed the installation of .net Framework 4.0, restarted but to no avail! What could be the issue

EDIT: I un-installed all .net Framework versions from my computer. I left NO trace. This morning I installed .net Framework 1.1, restarted and attempted to install .net Framework 3.5. The installation file still wouldn't run! I don't understand why every other version, besides 3.5, will install correctly!

You need to exclude pawno.exe from Anti Virus Shield. For the Microsoft Framework http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

Okay, I've added an exclusion for the entire folder and the program itself. I went to that exact page to get .net Framework 4.0. The issue still occurs.
