i download off the download page and it downloads fine then when i go to click install it is gray... and wont let me click..... help

Make sure you have GTA:SA installed on your PC and make sure SA:MP is installed in the same place.

You need to locate your GTA:SA directory (it's looking for the gta_sa.exe file).
