im new at this and dont know how to connect to different servers and find them

Click on the Internet tab, on your SA-MP window, and a long list will show up.

What?! Doesn't it pop-up a little window saying "Retrieving list from masterserver"? It must!
Check your firewalls.

it does show it but doesnt show any servers after its gone

hmm, are you habiting in South America or do you have any connection problems?
Perhaps your firewall is blocking SA-MP from accessing the list.
I gtg sleep now cuz it's almost 4am in here :P I hope someone else helps you to find a solution.

my firewall is off and i live in north america
