what is the bandwidth requirements for 200 players and how much ram is needed also
i looked and searched for it on the forums but i couldnt find if someone will give me a link it will help a bunch

Thats why, As you see... Servers hosted in VPSes and Dedicated Servers got low slots, because... They might have their bw really low.

I know plenty of people running servers on both VPS'es and dedicated servers, and they are having the slots on maximum.
However to answer your question: 1. It depends on how often people are ingame. 2. It depends on what kinda gamemode you are running, there is alot of things to calculate really.

A normal DM server.. not really much
Д RP server on the other hand, more transfer to the clients, more talking (atleast on hardcore RP servers), since there you have to roleplay the things instead of just /kill guy.
And often waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more commands, including the information to the admins and bladibla.
