Serverside weapons?

I was just wondering, is it possible do make server sided weapons? Like serverside money?

No, weapons are controlled clientside. The best way is to detect if an unknown weapon is given to the player (that the system hasn't given them) and if they weren't given it by the system, then ban them, that's generally how anti-cheat's for weapons work.

Yea i know.

But there is weapon save, so maybe can make for example A_GivePlayerWeapon and then it registers to a file that you had for example AK-47, and there is a timer, that checks players weapon and di they got them from A_GivePlayerWeapon, if not, then ban. So that means that they have to get weapon from pickup or hacks? SOmething like that.
