Hi guys, Recently i had a bad thunderstorm, My internet LAN card burnt out or something so i bought a wireless internet usb connector. Ever since ive gotten that Ive never been able to get my samp server running. my port 7777 are on but it wont work. i tried running my winamp server and it said something like i need to enable connection shareing. How do i do this. I think this will fix my problem
this is what winamp says: [yp_add] yp.shoutcast.com gave extended error (Cannot see your station/computer (IP: **.**.***.***:8040) from the Internet, disable Internet Sharing/NAT/firewall/ISP cache (Connection timed out).)
Maybe fixing my samp will fix my winamp server

SAMP doesn't have ANYTHING whatsoever with any other servers, whether it be a shoutcast server, icecast server, an illegal private server, seeding a torrent, download pr0n, anything.

by wireless usb connector do you mean a internet chip
ie. in canada theyre called 3gsticks from bell or rogers (fuckin rip off aswell, in the us they get unlimited bandwith, here is 75 a month for 5gb @: )
anyways if you are talking about a internet chip, your not going to be able to host anything off it. they have almost all ports blocked and everytime you restart them you get a new ip, theyre pretty much useless for everything except low bandwith gaming , email and internet
if your talking about a normal wireless card for your router, you need to disable windows firewall, any external firewall program / boxes you may have, and disable the firewalls to port 7777 on your router if applicable, you could also try setting up your ip address with a DMZ ( de militarized zone ) its a option on dlink and linksys and other routers i think, it worked for my friend a while ago.
the last thing you might want to try, is that if you got any drivers with the USB stick if its for a router connection, i would open up the apps that came with it and look around into what the actual network card is blocking and try to open up some ports.
hope that helped
