Hi guys,

Lately i've been bussy on a server at my home pc(windows xp) and it worked fine(could run it with eas), just it wasn't a real dedi u know? So i asked a friend to set up a server and that beeing said there is a linux server atm, altough i'm having problems with running my server.amx on this linux version off samp... the gamemode is unknown and there isn't any gamemode loading while u connect... i don't know what's wrong.

I downloaded the linux sa:mp server version to my dedicated server (with putty) and installed shizzle, with the basic settings in server.cfg (wich is a basic gamemode) it works fine.
But download my server.amx file into "gamemodes" and change server.cfg to the right name and stuff, it just gives the errors i explained above (no gamemode what so ever want's to load)

Anyone who can help me out here?

PS: srry if this kinda topic already beeing made by someone else (idk) i'm verry tired while writing this and i could have looked over some posts while i was searching.

I've had this issue before, can you show me what prints into your server log?

The issue I had was caused by a plugin not loading and then the gamemode didn't have the functions from it so it just crashed.

I'm at school now so can't connect cause of ports blocked and stuff will let u know when i'm at home

Ok i'm back home

Checked out the server_log.txt file and found out that it doesn't load my gamemode but why not so clear to me...

with finding this out there might be another topic about this issue already opened, srry about that.
but pls do help me out

thats plugins problem i get same problem on my linix box i dont run any plugins on it at all not dont work but server runs great wen going well moor stable than windows i think

You don't really need a "dedicated" server for a simple server. Only the most popular servers require one.

cant really run server on home computer unless got shit hot broadband and got spare pc which can be turned on 24/7

I have noticed other peeps had the same problem as i do now... and no one solved it , will it be the same thing with me?
No one can solve this issue or help me?
