Hello,

I am trying to run SA-MP on my linux server, but cannot get it to work. The server is started, but people can not connect to the server. The same thing happened on my windows server. Do I need the actual game to get the server to work?

make sure you have a static ip, people won't be able to even see your server if you don't have a static ip

Nope, I have a dynamic IP and people could still see my server, you need to forward your ports, so go to http://portforward.com and find your router there and forward your ports.
