I was scripting for a project and i just get this error message when i try to compile the script. Stating that "The application was unable to start correctly" .




Could someone help me here please, i'll be searching for resolutions too.

Maybe try zeex compiler? And check all your opened brackets are closed.

Searching would get you some results you know, rather than random guess of using another compiler when it's an application start issue so it means it's either corrupted or it's being stopped by something else...

A good idea when trying to explain things, is to actually say what's going on, like, is it a new install of the server package, whether you've messed with anything trying to get it going (reverse ANY compatibility changes you have made)..

You know, something more to go on as to what has happened to cause this.

I don't think the issue is within the script because i tried making a new script from the default and it crashes just the same.

Also, Make sure your anti virus program is not blocking the compiler. I have the Quick Heal and I had to whitelist the server.exe,announce.exe and pawno.exe for proper working.

I don't think its my virus scanner because i had been sing this PC for scripting for the pass 2 years, even up to yesterday i was scripting and while i was scripting, previously, it had worked properly, until i tried to compile the script because i had just added some a new command and it had shown me the application error.

may be download and place these .dll files inside your server folder and try... http://www.solidfiles.com/v/gqaeY353zVzQM/dl (p.s: that link are not provided by me, and Yes I've checked it doesnot contain any virus.)

I'd say refresh your Windows 10... just select Keep My Files option and only windows 10 will reinstall on your device and your files wont be harmed.

This is last ditch option, but it seems like it's something. Try putting the server folder in a new folder, like, from the compressed file, straight out to a new folder, and see if that keeps happening.

Ok i gave this a try and nothing changed. I still get the error saying "Unable to execute compiler"

Its not good to download .dll files but anyways i had them already in my folder also i tried your other suggestions and none worked.
