[Quinncell]

Hey!

So I've recently experienced a few opcode warnings and after then it crashed my game, normally I'd just relog and the issue would be fixed but a few days ago I crashed again and could not join the game. Each time I do it just crashes, when I tried to open GTA SA it did nothing, wouldn't launch it.

I think it has something to do with my laptop, not sure what really (not that good with computer problems). But I tried re-installing SA-MP and GTA SA and the problem didn't fix itself. That's why I think it has something to do with my laptop, I'll still try searching for it, possibly get it serviced or something if some more problems occur but I'd like your opinions on the whole crashing while joining SA-MP.

Have you tried deleting the GTA_SA.set file from Documents\GTA San Andreas User Files?, that usually fixes stupid things like this

EDIT: GTASA is a real pain for not removing modified files, in most cases they're left behind and not overwritten by the fresh install.. you would have to uninstall and reinstall within a new directory/folder.

I delete the .set file and made a new mod free folder but it's still crashing. Could be an issue with my laptop in general but I play, for example GTA IV with 60+ FPS so still not sure.

I think you should reinstall ur GTA San Andreas and Samp

I have installed a new GTA SA and SA-MP but it still didn't work. I went into 'gtasa>Properties>Compatibility and ran the program in Windows 98 / Windows Me and it worked fine.
