I'm guessing that you are new to all of this, so here is a map program for beginners(strongly recommend it)

Start off with this and when you think you mastered the basics move on to a more difficult mapping program.

I suggest you start off with THIS program. It will be a bit hard to get used to it but once you do,it's gonna be a piece of cake and your maps will look much better created with this program than with MTA! Good luck!

MTA mapping tool ain't worth shit.

For RP and exterior objects MTA is ok, if you're a beginner.
Later on he can move on to more complex stuff with other tools.
