As the title says, should there be another thread related within name changes? Instead of posting in beta testers forum profile. There was a thread made by a beta tester in 2013. If you want to namechange you stats should be at least:
Posts: +100
Reputation: +15
RULES
You are not allowed to post for a name change if you dont meet the following requirements.
No double post or you wont have the chance to get a namechange.
You can request only 1 namechange.
The thread should be open for at least one week.


PS: Rules can be added by beta testers. I only gave a suggestion.

Thread is in the wrong section.

Apart from that, when it is beta testers which would take care of such requests, what is the point of making a thread? It's nothing different than PM'ing a beta tester.

Anyway, the short answer to your question is no.

In 2013 a thread was made about name changing. When thread got closed they said that wont deal anymore about name changes only if another thread will be. Spaming their forum account is not a solution. Why dont you put your self in their position? This is only a discussion.

Well, to be honest the only people I see requesting name changes incidentally are users that registered yesterday and have two posts, in a manner of speaking.

I think that they only rename users with symbols in their Name due to the update of the SA-MP Wiki. So no, if you don't have symbol in your name, there is no chance for anyone to rename your account.
