I'd just find a better version.
Take what you've made, most of it would fit any godfather based edit.
WinMerge is good for checking differences. It's also good for checking how much work, an edit, had done.
If you got it from the release, and it was him that released it, then he's got no claim. He released it.
Really, he's just mad because his server failed, like every other break-off "I didn't get what I wanted so I'll startup another "community" to satisfy my powertripping needs" "community" does...

He didnt release it. Someone else did before he got his hands on it. But he said he have copyrights. I dont really think he did because the guy that did release it wouldn't give it to him after release it. I think he lieing so I dont host it.

Tell him to show you a copy of the assignment of copyright or any proof. If he fails to do that, then go ahead an use it.

What if he fails to show me and he really have copyrights? Can I still host it because he failed? If he shows me what will it look like? I just did so much work into this script that I dont want go to wast because some kid lying to me. I like to know what it will look like so if he tryed editing it.
I know Mark lies so makes it hard. I dont want get sued but same time I dont want him to get what he wants because his lies.

Yeah true. The edit I have dont have any his work into it so it so it dont make it his copyright. And the guy did release it so theres prove that I didnt take Mark edit. So yeah im going tell him to fuck off.

No he can't sue you, no he doesn't have copyrights, no he can't do crap. The script that both of you have is a PEN1LS edit, making it not possible for ANYONE beside the original creator to copyright it. Plus I believe that every single user who has ever started a server or planned on starting one, has a copy of that script.

Yea, I wouldn't touch it, still find another that's proper, and released.
Even though he can't do shit, it's the thing... It's not hard to find another script which is close, or get someone to make one to YOUR requirements.
It will take time, but it'd be more worth it to have your own.
Also mind out who you trust... The release bullshit from other scripters is full on gay, but it's common unfortunately.
