SA-MP players/forum statistics (samp.popznet.com alternative)
#1

Popz' website seems to be offline for a while, and "samp ist dying" threads keep POPZing up like hell.
Ive had a simple cronjob script lying around for quite a while, and thought I could put this to use to get a working alternative for samp statistics.
Data is fresh, it is just collecting them since today, but Ill record a variety of numbers to serve all your scientific needs. Data is updating every 15 minutes. I might combine older data later, but the chart renderer I use is said to be able to handle 100k+ entries. There shouldnt be any performance problems, but with the network traffic increasing by 4kB every day things would get unhandy after a while

Open for suggestions etc.

Oh. Thank you, Mauzen. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I was looking for the latest chart, but since Popz' was offline, I couldn't find one. Thanks again!

This is great but why is it displaying in hours instead of dates/month :0 Are my eyes deceiving me or popznet displayed month/dates before. What timezone are we looking at btw?

It is autoscaling. Days and months will be displayed when theres enough data. Timezone should be GMT+2 (last update at 19:30), but im not sure if javascript uses your local zone instead.
I could add Popz' data from web.archive.org or something, but theres a 9 months gap.

Then try again. There are some minor problems on the VPS node right now, loading might be slow sometimes but the website definitely isnt offline. Unless you got a static IP, attacked my server some time in the past and so got on my banlist

Why would isup.me be on there too? Still down from here. No idea if any 'attacking' has been done from here but possible since I'm on uni internet, doubt it though.

For me isup.me says that it is up. It could possibly be detected as offline during a network spike at the node, but only for 1-2 seconds, and the node problems should already be fixed.

Cheers for the effort, it's nice being able to visualize this again

Good job, looks really nice! Popznet will be back up soon though, I notified Popz about it a couple of weeks ago and he's working on getting it back up I guess they kinda provide two different services, since Popznet shows data from over the years which is what we need for all of these "SA-MP DED" threads.
