Hell Guys.
Friends, when I run the server on port 7777 I ping my lord were too high and if the server runs on a different port would normally what I do to fix this problem.

not using port or blocked .
every time is good ping on 7777 but Sometimes high ping on port 7777.

He's home-hosting it.
So he's definitely having a bad internet, that's probably why.

I think you got this wrong. The server's ping does not depends on the port, but on your device performance, network and location.
However, when you are doing tasks on your device, you might notice a server's ping will increase not due to of the host, but to your PC; as the processing speed of the data is lowering, the ping is increasing. In fact, the ping is the amount of time in which the device processes the commands.

Different ports do not in fact increase or decrease ping. As Michael B said, there is other factors, such as your device etc. If it is causing you an issue, use a different port. There's not a whole lot of difference in which port you choose to utalize.
