Where's staff?
#1

Hy admins,
Me and my friend make an email to report samp server who break the laws. (Using leaked script)
I sent the email 2 days ago, but until now there's no reply from the SA:MP staff.
I sent the email to : team@sa-mp.com
Is that right?
If it's right, please reply or take action to that server.
Sorry for my bad english.

To be honest, that server isn't breaking any "laws" really.... They're just using a script that someone else leaked, its upto the Community who owns (if they even own it) to contact them about using another script.

If they are using a script that they don't have explicit permission to use (from the author) then they're committing copyright infringement. Leaked scripts don't become public domain. Please don't comment about copyright law if you don't have any idea what you're talking about.

OP: You did the right thing by emailing the SA-MP team but you can go one step further - find the company that hosts their server and send a copyright infringement notice to their host. If the company complies with their legal obligations then they should forward the complaint to the customer and take the server down.

That's up to the creator of that certain script, he can DMCA it. (shut the server down)

They'll probably read it.
They might just not be answering, that's normal for alot of instances.

In all honesty it depends on the script that they're using, if it's a big server they're more likely to take action.
