Just wondering what everyones view on this is..

I'm white, and I listen to alot of drill rap, lil durk, montana of 300, LA Capone,etc.

It's different in the states than in the UK, In the UK, black people take the piss out of white people when they listen to it, and I know this cause I'm in college and I was listening to rap, and a black guy walked past and just walked off pissing himself laughing.. I didnt care, cause I've been a victim of bullying my whole life, so I'm used to everything and dont take it to heart... And I have a white friend who listens to rap, and hes in the states, and no one gives a fuck what you listen to...

Ironically in the US, mainstream rap (especially the gangsta rap movement of the 90s) was aimed primarily at white suburban teenagers of moderate-to-high income. Inner city blacks had been listening to is since before it was popular, and had started to shift genres as the g-rap thing exploded in suburbia.

I think its kinda funny that some black people laugh at you for listening to rap. As you said its MUCH different here...music and skin color just dont seem to matter

I've been listening to rap for the last 25 years. I'm very (very) white. Just keep doing your thing man, who gives a shit what other people think.
