I have a windows 8 laptop and after all the messing around with getting Grand Theft Auto San Andreas to work on it, I tried to patch it down to the version 1.0 so I can play sa-mp but because I had to download the crack so I could turn my compatibility mode to windows 98 it wont let me patch the cracked version. I do have the disk but I get the mouse problem, and that's if the game decides to load. Can anyone help?

Any problem with mouse I mean the mouse is having only problem when your putting putting the disk
