Hi guys myself Gill, we are going to open a server hosted in India, as there is no samp server provider in India so i have to go with vps .

We are working on freeroam/deathmatch with races/dives/moneybag/duels/dm .In testing phase mostly 2 or 3 guys go for testing never looked on this side but when we are going to complete everything server open for public too before offical launch people start joining like 12 - 15

I saw that server is lagging opened cpu resources saw that samp using cpu like this 2% 5% 7% 4% 75% 100%

VPS spec:
CPU: Intel Xeon e5000 2.2ghz single core
Ram: 512mb
Bandwith: 25mbps down / 50mbps up link
Os: window 2008 R2

Tired another script which was perfect without any glitch problem remain same.
Would you tell me what is wrong ? OS , Cpu , ram
Should i try VPS with dual core more ram ? I need suggestion !

Maybe you should try with with Debian OS and dual core. I bet you have OpenVZ VPS, this means that other VPS's can affect your VPS, usually this happens when hosting company oversell their VPS. KVM is more stable.

@OP, search for useless loops, useless arrays as well useless function calls.
If the sa-mp keeps eating resources, upgrade your vps for 1GB ram @2 virtual cores.

Yes but he is using windows OS. I just suggested one of the linux OS's

I just order new demo vps

New VPS:
CPU: Intel Xeon dual core 2.2ghz
Ram: 2GB
OS: Windows 2008 R2

Still same problem ? Is it something with script if yes than how to test it ?

Even if you take a 16 GB dedi w/ 3.4ghz CPU on i5 it will still lag, because of the script. So, use profiler plugin and check what's using so much CPU at your script.

Half correct; half wrong.

OpenVZ is like some container-based virtualization where if you have Linux, then you put digital containers where each one has its own freedom per-say to install/modify per wish but it's all shared under the master container (the main host), so you cannot modify any core server settings or install any kernel updates; the host has to do it for you. Plus, Linux is being shared all over these containers. You can't expect Windows to be installed under Linux. It's just impossible o-O

KVM is the real deal. It offers you full virtualization, meaning, you will receive a dedicated VPS where you can do literally whatever you want, because the server's all yours. Kernels? Core config? sysctl? All editable. With this, you can install Windows, Linux or w/e you want to because all its resources are all yours. Only thing is that you have to be/you need a sysadmin in order to do something on a KVM because you have to mess around with iptables sooner or later

In this case, OP is having a restricted KVM access wherein Windows is installed in it. Better move to Linux for better speed and optimize your script to the maximum. Sometimes GUI can prove a fatal issue in low RAM-based servers

Wrong. You do not get 100% dedicated resources with any virtualization.

What I mean by 'dedicated resources' that it's not shared, as in a specific amount of RAM, space etc is allotted to a user and it's all his. And sometimes it's not the job of the virtualization to provide dedicated resources, it's more upon how host companies tend to cheat by overselling or be in good standing by not overselling and exhausting their servers with their clients.
