Its my personal opinion that Green Day is not punk...but a lot of people disagree

EDIT: also a good movie regarding the aspects of punk life in the 80s...check out "SLC Punk". Awesome soundtrack too.

You see Green Day is punk and it will always be but just because the new 3 albums what are an triology have those new kinda sounds of music but they are punk rock band.
