Server's crashing.
#1

Hello.
I have a problem with my server that makes the server crash, but when it tries to restart nothing happens.
So any idea about how I can fix this?
Volt-host sent me this:
Quote:

Hello,

It seems like our system detects your server is crashing and then attempts an auto restart.
Have you changed anything to your server lately?

try to remember the newiest things you added, then remove them and try again, if your server was working fine before you changed something - that will be the problem.

Load crashdetect plugin. When the server crashes, it will add few information in the console/server log.
Show us the results.

Are you running the R2 server? You might want to try running the server locally and see if that crashes, I wouldn't rule out the possibility of a problem with Volt...

This is the only thing I get which is related to Crashdetect, even that the server just crashed again.
Code:
[14:25:57] Loading plugin: crashdetect.so
[14:25:57] CrashDetect v4.12 is OK.
[14:25:57] Loaded.

Does it work on your home-based server?

Post the last lines of the server log here too.

@ Linuxthefish Nope. It's not Volt because Volt is up and running for my server. Although I'm having problems of my own but not host related of course. Just thought I'd let you know volt was up.

I always tell people with server crashing problems to do this
Create a text file called pawn.cfg and put it in the pawno directory that you compile the script with
In the file should only have one line saying:

Code:
-d3
Use the latest version of crashdetect which can be found HERE

Run the server and paste the server logs here.
What this does is give the exact lines of code in the script that is causing the problems and helps troubleshoot better.

I haven't seen it crashing when I've been online, thanks anyway.
