Ubuntu forums hacked.

I really don't know if you guys noticed, but day 20 July this month, the ubuntu forums have been hacked.
The hackers downloaded the whole database of the ubuntu forums, so usernames, passwords, e-mails, etc., are now in the hands of the hackers.

The passwords are not stored in plain text, they are stored as salted hashes. However, if you were using the same password as your Ubuntu Forums one on another service (such as email), you are strongly encouraged to change the password on the other service ASAP.

I think they can crack it I'm glad I didn't register on that unprotected thing.

They would say that even if the passwords were hashed and salted 3 trillion times with NSA security-level hashes. A compromised database is a compromised database. :P
