How long will my PC last?
#1

This may sound kind of stupid, but I usually have my PC on for 12 hours a day. It has a good quality case with plenty of ventilation, nothing is overclocked and most of the time it's just browsing.

I think as long as the temps are low, you should be okay

Each pc lasts for about 6-7 or less years as new games and new pc models come out. And it's better to reduce the playing hours. If you don't, you'll soon ask "how long will my brain last".

if you used it for too long and play incompatible games in your pc , then your pc will get overheated , hence your pc will not last long .

I've got a 3570k, a GTX 670 with an aftermarket fan (MSI), and Corsair Vengeance. Specwise I'm fine, it's not getting strained at all, but at the present I'm usually on my PC throughout the day and it's turned on when I wake up and off when I go to sleep.

EDIT:

1: always keep your computer clean inside every month like i do everytime

2: make sure you have very good fans

3: make sure its no were like were it can get hot fast

4: dont leave the computer on every night and it should be fine if you follow this

As long as everything is running cool, it should last a while. High temps decrease hardware life span, but CPU's are designed to last for decades, assuming everything is running/configured within specification. Your HDD would give out before your CPU most likely though.

Does anyone know a good place you can safely store a keepass file? Do they have a strong encryption where it'd be safe to save online somewhere?

NEVER store any password files online!!! not encrypted, not compressed, not even an encrypted .jpg photo of a stickynote with a password on your refrigerator.
a(ny) non-physically device will do fine - use an old notepad, your old cellphone/SDCard?
scratch it into your door
if you mean lots of crypted files: use the mentioned SDCard, they are cheap now.

oh, "old"topic related: my pc runs fine for years now, my powerbill is almost constant. the best place for the PC: on the ground - the air is cooler there. warm air rises up - whoever smelled it, dealt it.
