Sorry if this is the wrong section but it seemed most relevant for my question,
Basically, Where should i go to learn the very basics, like what a variable is, How to declare one, literally how you would teach an alien ?

After the basics look at some tutorials that will help you understand things better.

Set your self little targets, best way really.. For example
1. create a /enter and /exit command
2. upgrade it with a simple text saying you entered the building.
3. create a simple admin system (very easy)
4. learn to restrict the enter command only for admins...
5. use ur imagination!


Thats how i learned the basic's really quickly, and if you need help this forum always is an answer!

Thanks all, I am quite a fast learner and if i was to put in 3-5 hours learning a day how long would it be until im a, so to say 'average' scripter?
