Well when you ****** for some websites for example samp, its shows website name and under that like categories/links that are associated with that website, here is the image of what i mean

You are right that search engines (like ****** and Bing) crawl websites and they will infact look at your website's meta-tags. But it takes a little more (or a whole lot of visits to your website) before any search engine will display results like this.
