Hello.

Can someone tell me how do i open a server on VPS using WinSCP?

Add the IP of your VPS in the address box, select from SFTP,SCP and FTP, fill in your username and password and click Login.

I use it very much and it's a very simple SSH program.
WinSCP can get very confusing if you don't know how to use it right.

WinSCP can be used for SFTP.

I'd rather use FileZilla then WinSCP for that.

Alright,thanks for reponses but i've already fixed my issues. I didnt know how to turn on/off a server And yea FileZilla,i've tried it but it couldn't log in into my account.

With FileZilla, there has to be a FTP Server setup on the server SFTP doesnt need a setup, as it usually comes, Last time I checked, The popular SFTP connection program is WinSCP

Filezilla also supports SFTP, no need of WinSCP for that.

Also there's no setting for that, just change the port number to 22 and you'd be initiating a SSH FTP connection.
