Visual Studio as the development environment for PAWN
#1

Is it possible to have Visual Studio as the development environment for PAWN? If so, is there any extension or method of implementing it?

Definitely no. Atleast yet. Visual Basic cannot export .PWN files. But if it could export, why not?

I'm pretty sure you havent understood my question properly. But it's okay let me explain it again. How would I be able to use Visual Studio IDE(not Visual Basic Language) as the development environment for PAWN scripts?

I know what you meant. I mean even if you can work on Visual Studio. It wouldn't compile properly since Visual Studio was not designed for SAMP. Pretty much you would get a lot of errors in compiling for unknown parts in the scripts.

I don't think that's going to happen. But, you still can use c++ whose development environment is Microsoft Visual Studio to create scripts (Plugins) for SA-MP and you can use c++ features as well.

Have a look on this thread:

@Alexis: Yeah that's the problem. Dunno how Visual Studio compile works.

@HellSphin: I saw that already but the problem is that it's an unmanaged code.
