KingJ - Can't find my .pwn in the host.
#1

Alright, computer reset deleted everything. Working now, it only shows the .amx file and not the .pwn file but it still runs the gamemode and the script? There support tickets is slow as shit and it never helps because they " Don't understand " . Where do I get my .pwn file :O

A script does not require a pwn source code file in order to run, just a compiled amx. I'm afraid that you will have to start anew if you have no other backups of your code. You could try decompiling your amx, but even if you succeed, your script will hardly be readable.

So, you're telling me. I'm fucked? Dude, wheres my .pwn file in the host? Why they delete it :O

No hosting provider would delete your files.

Make sure your not giving access to anyone who can delete these files.

Regardless, if you have the .amx for your gamemode you should be fine.

This ^, also always make sure you have backup of your script.

I always save my important projects on external HDD, so I did with scripts when I was scripting.

I recommend you to just upload the compiled .amx files because a script doesn't need a .pwn file in order to run, also it is a Security risk sometimes if you upload the .pwn file, let's say for example the host you are using got attacked they can easily steal your gamemode if you have the .pwn file.

You could try Recuva to get your .pwn file back.

Dear,

so hosts doesn't need .PWN file to run? I Know .PWN file is master from script and it's compiled to .AMX, what is hard to reach. If someone gets your .PWN, then he can easily edit file and change owner credits.
