When i type in my real ip from whatismyip.com it says i can not connected, why is that and how may i fix it.

I also have another question, is it safe to give out my ip to every one?

Well there are another one way to see your IP Address!If you are with Windows XP, open: Start Menu>Command Propmt.Then type 'ipconfig'.If you are with Windows 7 open Start Menu>Search for programs>cmd.Then again write 'ipconfig'.Your IP Address will be on line IPv4...........(here will be your IP Address)

lol that is his in ipv4 not public ip address

Pal, if you are serious...read on.

If your server runs on your own PC, then type in YOUR PORT:

E.g., if your server is running on port 7777, add :7777 to your favourites.
Otherwise, use IPconfig.

If he is on label, that is him public IP Address, but if is on router IPv4 Line is for open ports.
