Title and why?
Just wanted to know because I've been without any AV/Spyware softwares for about ~2 years and my PC is still all fine. I just handle stuff myself and the default windows defender does other jobs too.

I use microsoft security essentials
I also hope it works, because i downloaded a lot of files and never had any warning
but it's very simple

Yes,When something is not safe,Alerts come up,But i usually ignore them,I dont know why.

No, I don't. I sometimes run just windows defender quick scan.
When you know where you're surfing and do not click any advertisements your clear.

I didn't use to and my system was ruined. After re-installing the windows, I have been downloading alot of free anti-virus ( Avast, AVG, Eset ) softwares and so far the best I have found is the Kaspersky antivirus. It does a great job. Not gonna remove it.
