Noobs do that rep thing because they think Rep is a currency that only the 13375 (eleets) have.

You must remember, SA-MP is growing. What do you propose to be done to the people who does such thing? Infraction, Ban, Message of Notice? It really doesn't make any sense in accordance to how the forums are. You WILL encounter people like this with whatever there is to be done. The expectancy of these people SHOULD be to behave in a most appropriate manner, but why should you care? They'll understand that eventually that obtaining knowledge is MOST important rather than some number (rep system) on the forum.

I agree with People Posting them same thing after each other
@edalad - I believe they added they rep system for (1) For people to judge how well you've been doing and (2) To moderate Server Advertisments.

I think that if people are asking reputation should be banned or punished somehow..its annoying because reputation system is basically a system which you are using to thank someone for doing something good.

Would be nice to keep the forum clean, but I think the rule isnt explicit and so hard to realize (how similar do posts have to be in order to be "repeated"). People should be allowed to say whatever they want as long as it matches the topic anyways, forcing them to reduce spam with more rules doesnt work anyways as the past has shown.

Bumping this thread.
I do somewhat understand why people keep breaking the advert section's rules. No offence, but it sems like the mods don't take the rules for that section any more serious than the rule breakers do, seeing as how one could post 3 adverts in a week and still isn't punished.

Or simply add another section in Server Advertisiments where you need 50+ rep
People will start looking at it, just like you combine internet and hosted list
