Hey there, I want to be a good scriptor, But how did you's get so good? Could you answer the questions below?:

Q1) What knowledge of scripting did you have before hand?

Q2) What websites helped you and (links please)

Q2) How long did it take you to get so good!

lol for me i am not really pro but i can create advanced stuff
i never saw tutorials i think they make stuff harder xD
i just had some scripts and read and read and read big scripts such as raven roleplay..
and tested how the things work

Well I belive you never know everything since SA:MP comes with new things all the time.

Before I really went over to Adveanced it took me 6-8month to be that good, I took a look at most other scripts to get a picture of how they really build they'r game modes, after that I builded my own one and I used sa-mps wiki, theres a lot of resources.

Still today are there alot of things I don't know yet or don't know how to use, Wiki is perfect and you just have to got a picture of how it's builded and have great idйas to obtain a perfect script :P

I can script but there are things that I don't know yet. The best way is to read everything by SA-MP Wiki and read/see tutorials. Also, by exercising, make some script and make them work, if something is wrong ask for help on the forum and tell them to explain you, what was wrong. We all learn from our mistakes.

Of course, you have to learn others languages too and then it seems more easier.
I started about SA-MP Script at December but from September at school I deal with algorithms/Pascal. I know isn't the same but then it's more easier on the thinking way on how to make something.

I learned by experimenting. (Making a few commands that heal you etc..)

i learned it by downloading a gamemode script put it in my server and changed a lot of things XD but it took me around 10 months i think before i could really script "good".

and also i have played samp for 2 years before starting 1 myself
