Vehicle prices in 60's
#1

I have been doing quite a bit of research for a roleplay server that I am currently scripting, it takes place in 1969, so I need to know how much these cars would have costed back then to make a stable, and realistic, economy...

Hermes - `51 Mercury
Glendale - `68 Plymouth Fury
Sadler - `60 Ford F100
Savanna - `64 Chevrolet Impala
Walton - `60 Ford F100
Tornado - `57 Chevy Bel Air
Voodoo - `62 Chevrolet Impala
Tampa - `66 Chevy Corvair
Perennial - `67 Chevrolet Nova
Hustler - 30's Ford Hotrod
Oceanic - `58 Dodge Coronet
Picador - `68 Chevrolet El Camino
Stallion - `65 Ford Mustang Mach 1
Windsor - `66 Jaguar XKE

So, if there is anyone who knows a bit about these, cars, I would be thrilled to know how much they went for in the last 60's.

Thanks,
Nmader

I agree you did a lot of research, it's hard to find them.

And the prices weren't exact, as discussable as on the market nowadays.

Hermes - `51 Mercury: $2642 ( http://en.allexperts.com/q/Vintage-C...51-Mercury.htm )
Glendale - `68 Plymouth Fury: choose ( http://auto.howstuffworks.com/1965-1...outh-fury8.htm )
Sadler - `60 Ford F100: couldn't find
Savanna - `64 Chevrolet Impala: choose ( http://www.oldride.com/library/1964_...et_impala.html )
Walton - `60 Ford F100: that's the same as the Sadler
Tornado - `57 Chevy Bel Air: cheapest at $2,025 ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chevrol...2.80.931957.29 )
Voodoo - `62 Chevrolet Impala: $2,700 - $3,100 ( http://www.conceptcarz.com/vehicle/s...49&modelID=324 )
Tampa - `66 Chevy Corvair: Original Price: $2,100 - $2,700 ( http://www.conceptcarz.com/vehicle/s...px?modelID=328 )
Perennial - `67 Chevrolet Nova: $2,683 ( http://musclecars.howstuffworks.com/...ii-nova-ss.htm )
Hustler - 30's Ford Hotrod: unknown
Oceanic - `58 Dodge Coronet: $2,410-$2,905 ( http://www.conceptcarz.com/vehicle/d...14627&i=2#menu )
Picador - `68 Chevrolet El Camino: unknown
Stallion - `65 Ford Mustang Mach 1: $2,370 - $2,612 ( http://www.conceptcarz.com/vehicle/s...74&seriesID=44 )
Windsor - `66 Jaguar XKE: $5,400-$6,100 ( http://www.conceptcarz.com/vehicle/d...=9579&i=2#menu )

Yes, I was bored.

Wow, this is even more helpful, and I had troubles finding the 60's Ford F100 myself, you took a great amount of effort to help me, which you did. Here, take this. *Hands you a bag a REP, but all but one falls out*
