Mouse fails
#1

Hi,

My mouse suddenly stopped detecting clicks (i have to click about 10 times before it detects one), it also sometimes detected single clicks as double clicks.. Thinking this was because the mouse was fairly old, i bought a new one, but the same problem happens to this. Its a brand new wireless mouse, part of a combo.

What happens:
Sometimes have to click 10 or 20 times for it to detect 1 click
Sometimes single clicks will get detected as double clicks
Cant hold LMB to highlight things, it thinks i stopped holding it after less than a second

The only thing i can think up is reinstalling the driver. Do you have one for your mouse?

There are no drivers for my mouse from what i know
It is part of the MK260 Logitech combo
Sometimes the mouse will work completely fine for so long. But then it starts failing

So install the Logitech MK260 latest driver. Sometimes if you dont install the driver and use the product. The product becomes buggy. It happened to me with a Logitech Wave, suddenly my keyboard and mouse dont work. I installed the drivers and its all working now.

Hmm. Strange, do you have any other mouse at home? so you can try that mouse and see if it works properly. Just to make sure.
