Can anyone help me?

Alright, So if you watch the video below, You can see the laptop won't turn on, I got it to boot today after it sitting for 2 days and used a thumb drive to use Linux, (I didn't install it.) It won't work, Can anyone help me?

Dell Inspiron 1525.

Blown capacitor? Happens in televisions all of the time, probably in laptops too.

Do you remember if the volume buttons worked? It may be that entire panel having a problem. I have the same laptop and I remember having problems if that panel isn't plugged in correctly, make sure the wire is fitted into it's slot nice and snug.

Well, The Volume buttons and stuff aren't an issue, They light up sometimes when I get it to power up, But the power button is just hitting another button not in that board if you see what I mean.

Ah. I could of sworn that the power button had a connection like the volume buttons and stuff. Sorry about that!

I have been messing around under the keyboard, I can touch this cable and the lights light up, it seems like the power switch isn't fully inside the board..
UPDATE: I was able to connect into the board fully, but it still won't turn on.. hmmmm
