Are you giving them the correct IP?
Not like 192.168.x.x
Check it out on www.whatismyip.com .
Try adding your own IP to see if it works, if it does, it is portforwarded and should be working.

i port forwarded my 192.x.x.x so does that not mean my external ip is port forwarded

If you port forwarded AT ALL, then your ip on www.whatismyip.com named should be port forwarded.

did you open the ports for your PC PROFILE? in your router?

Did you try adding your IP into your favourites? ( Not 127.0.0.1 or localhost or :7777, but ip like 225.252.161.151
