Getting High Ping On Local Server ,Strange?

on topic : are you using proxy? and are you connecting to 127.0.0.1?

the solution was :
"I searched around and found it can be caused by multi-core computers. I have a quad core at the moment, so I found that I have to set CPU affinity of the gta_sa.exe process to all cores. After this, my ping is very stable. "

If it's local either you are not directly connecting to the server, so via proxy, or your hardware sucks that bad that you are getting hardcore lag on a local server. Check your Internet settings to see if you are using a proxy.
