Different Ip address on different Sites...??
#1

Hey all,
The problem is that on every site that shows the IP address of the PC, it shows me different IP addresses

Like on www.whatismyip.com it show's my IP address 195.229.237.42
And on www.ipchicken.com it show's my IP address 195.229.242.60
On www.portforward.com it say's '' Your external IP is 195.229.237.36 ''
On another website it shows 195.229.237.43

But my preferred IP address remains same. I really dont understand this problem.

Dynamic IP, not an 'always on connection'.. at least it sounds like it.

You have a dynamic IP that changed lots. Check http://vps.linuxthefish.tk/other/ip.php for your IP. You might have to check every 10 mins, if you IP seems to be changing that often!

I used to have a similar problem like that. It's easily fixed by calling your ISP and requesting a static IP address. Some people think that it's their router making their IP address, but your router is making your networking IP, not your interwebz IP. :P
