Whenever I'm in a police car and I want to turn on the siren, I have to hit the Caps Lock or Horn button LOADS of times. Very rarely does it take only one press. And then when I want to turn it off, I have to press the button loads of times again, and I often end up turning the siren on again!

Plz help!

Windows 7 Premium x64
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 @ 2.83 GHz

Atm I'm running a few car mods but that is not the cause, it happens with no mods and I've tried reinstalling many times.

Sorry if what I'm saying isn't quite clear, but I'm kind of half asleep today :P

i know that issue
set the Framelimiter to ON, and try /fpslimit 40
if your game runs lagfree (like 80 fps), then you need to touch the horn key for 1/80 second, thats really fast. setting the framelimit to 20 will allow you to let the game recognize a longer "holding" as a faster key "tip" only...
you could use AutoHotKey to bind a(nother) key to press your horn key for a really short time, this could do the trick

well, using the samp frame limiter didnt change anything but im fine with hitting buttons quickly.
