Okay well im trying to help my friend mod his SA but his gta sa folder is on read only so every time i tick read only off it changes back when i save it so has any one else had this problem or have a fix for it?

Reinstall? Or get the original gta3.img

More info about what OS he use is he administrator on his PC and by the way its SAMP discussion not SA

If your using SAMI (San Andreas Mod Installer) When you upload the mod, and if its a vehicle mod, be sure to replace on the correct vehicle and name the mod TEST1 and wait for it to upload. Then launch GTA-SA.

EDIT: I read it wrong lol I thought you meant by when you put on the mod its the original thing :P Sorry. But anyway this helps when your uing SAMI and your having trouble
