Don't know, i think somewhere around end-2006, the original PEN topic is gone somehow, and the oldest topic about PEN i can find is begin-2007.

Thats a pity, I was interested to see the first topic about PEN, its completion date etc since it was a GM that entered in samp history after all

The first time I saw it in 2006, and i think it the best mode for samp ever!
I address to the creators or creator of "Public Enemy LS" , why you stopped update, your project? why this best mode died? Please, answer me!

The Pen1 LS creaters probably left SA-MP, but their GM made paved the way for many servers today, for example, LS-RP (according to Krisk) and then Godfather script which led to SA-RP, NG-RP and many copy servers.
