I've tried to play SA-MP on my laptop, and after a couple minutes of playing, my entire game locks up. I can't minimize out to close out the game, it freezes the entire computer and i have to turn it off completely.
I am running the game on Windows Vista.

Windows Vista huh? That could be the issue, if Windows Vista has trouble running on your computer at all, then it will definitely cause a problem when running SA:MP. Good luck!
