Rare issue
#1

Hi,

Okay so, we are running our server, it has 30-50 players on normal time.
Sometimes, but it still happens, the server just seems to die. It is like having a timeout, you just dont get any response from the server anymore. You still are connected. On the SA-MP Client the Playercount is stuck on a number, and if you're trying to join then you are stuck at "Connected to ...".

We never had this problem before, it just popped up.

Has anyone else experienced this, or what may cause it?

Uhm, no.
The server ran fine for two weeks, out of all sudden it started happening. (Linux (serverFFS))

It's just like, the server freezes, noone can connect, the playercount is stuck, no updates ingame, ..

I've really no clue what it could be. Possible buffer overflow sympthoms? lol

I have the very exact problem. The problem was NOT my script. I did a test to see if maybe spamming a command could be the result. It turns out that it did stop the connection of the server. But in your case, I'm not sure if that could be the problem.

Hmm, we are having peaks of 60 players, while the script logs every command which has been input. Although serverFFS told us that the script only uses 9% CPU & 12MB ram, so I really have my doubts it could be scriptingwise issues.
