Problem: I load SA:MP, it works, GTA SA shows the SAMP screens, and it says "SA-MP 0.3a started" in the corner. It doesn't matter what server I connect to, it will always say "connecting to iport" and then "the server didn't respond retrying" over and over. IT IS NOT MY FIREWALL. I have disabled it and tried - the same happened. I do have mods installed but I tried SAMP even before installing them and it didnt make a difference. I have reinstalled SAMP too. It was a fresh install of GTA. I installed GTA on New Year's Eve.

The server could be offline, or if you cant connect to any server, disable your firewall and see if it works. If it does you must set up your firewall properly - go to it's website to find out how. It could also be that you have an old version of SA-MP, download the latest version from the SA-MP download page.
