Hi guys, I'm sure we have all had a "error crash report" when SA:MP stops working. Here's a possible way to fix it. I highly recommend you use this method if your using Windows Vista.
Step 1. Right click on the MULTIPLAYER icon and choose properties.
Step 2. Click on the "Compatibility" tab. --MAKE SURE THE FOLLOWING ARE SELECTED.--
Compatibility mode: Tick the run this program in compatibility mode for > Windows 98/ Windows Me
Settings: Tick 1. Run in 256 colors (doesn't have any affect in the game, just the layout of the multiplayer program)
2. Disable desktop composition.
ONLY THOSE TO FOR THE SETTINGS PART MUST BE TICKED, NOTHING ELSE.
And Finally, Privilege level > TICK > Run this program as admin.
This has worked for me, and im getting NO PROBLEMS at all. Lets hope it works for you. When your done, take out the GTA SA disk and put it back in (unless you have a no-cd crack.)
Hope this helps! Ty for reading.
