Download the downgrade patch at the download website and the problem is either "gta_sa.exe" is renamed to something else or you're selecting the wrong folder of GTA San Andreas to install.

you have to place the map construction in your GTA-SA Directory, also it is recommended that you install SA-MP as well while trying to do that.

head to your Documents and open GTA San Andreas userfiles, and remove SAMP Folder and retry, this might happen cuz userdata.dat is corrupted or maybe even sa-mp.cfg .

this happens due files missing or something is corrupted, maybe the gta3.img is corrupted, try reinstalling the game or sa-mp.
