There is no way (afaik) to save the stats when the server suddenly goes off, however there are ways around it, use a timer that saves the stats every 15 minutes maybe? atleast the damage will be less....

Skin does matter, ID 137, 230, 53 are most used in A/D because the movement is noticeably faster and it's tricky to get a shoot at them.

Use a timer, monitor the falling animations for each player, if found kill the player.

Depending on what you're trying to do, I'm sure there are others ways to do it.
