Can you give anymore specific details? Operating system, etc. Do you have Vista? Have you tried changing compatibility mode of gta_sa.exe?

I've had the exact problem on one of my laptops that had Vista. It just simply won't work. Vista isn't exactly the ideal gaming OS.

yeah i think there should be a LVA admin fs :P and some people were telling me that AVG picked the files up as a trojan? probably just them :O
